These sheepskins have been tanned organically using a mixture of eggs, oils, smoke and bark. Being that this process is completely natural, please expect varying degrees of suppleness, smoke stains or aroma, or remaining grass in the wool. Please know that the hides will soften with use and the smoke smell will fade with time. The hope is that any imperfections make your hide feel as unique as the animal who once wore it.
